REACH doctors will still treat patients at central Charlotte clinic
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA (May 13, 2009) – Fertility specialists of Reproductive Endocrinology Associates of Charlotte (REACH) announced that effective May 22 they will no longer see patients at their Concord clinic in the Northeast Medical Center.
“We have been privileged to work with many fine families and staff in Concord. We will still be treating patients from all over the state (and elsewhere) at our central REACH clinic,” said Dr. Nancy Teaff of REACH.
REACH was in the international spotlight recently when their Charlotte patients Melodie and Chris Biblis, a former leukemia patient who froze his sperm 22 years ago prior to chemotherapy, had their first child, Stella. This was among the longest periods of cryopreservation on medical record.
REACH is led by a nationally recognized team of six physicians who offer comprehensive, state-of-the-art assistance for infertile couples and women with reproductive endocrine problems. REACH physicians, all long-time practitioners in Charlotte, are widely respected for their superior pregnancy success rates – one of the highest in the region -- and for the finest patient care.. REACH is a member of IntegraMed, an exclusive network of fertility practices nationwide. For more information, visit www.REACHdrs.com.
Listen to REACH's Dr. Nancy Teaff and REACH patient Nicole Epstein on WBT radio "Health Headlines" with Stacey Simms, broadcast May 30. Dr. Teaff helped Nicole have a child on her own before her eggs were no longer viable, much like the JLo character in the film, "The Back Up Plan."

Congrats to Dr. Richard Wing, Dr. Daniel Whitesides, and Dr. Nancy Teaff

These three REACH physicians were named Charlotte Magazine’s “Top Doctors” in the July 2010 issue. This annual peer-recommended roster of 276 physicians in 60 specialties is among the highest acknowledgement for any physician. Charlotte Magazine asked local physicians whom they would send their loved ones to if they were in need of medical attention. Congratulations Drs. Wing, Whitesides, and Teaff!
